Ashton-under-Lyne — 3-Bed Terrace Converted to a 6-Bed, 3-Bathroom HMO

A full HMO conversion of a traditional 3-bed terrace in Ashton-under-Lyne for a social housing provider, delivering six practical bedrooms and three bathrooms to meet local demand. We handled everything end-to-end — first and second fix electrics, plumbing, joinery, plastering, full decoration, kitchen fit and flooring — coordinating trades so the build stayed tidy, sequenced and, well, sensible.

Objectives

Commissioned by a developer for social housing, this project reworked a 3-bed terraced house in Ashton-under-Lyne into a robust six-bedroom, three-bathroom HMO. The brief focused on creating comfortable lettable rooms with hard-wearing finishes; integrating three bathrooms to serve the occupancy; delivering full HMO compliance with the right fire-safety measures (FD30 doors and an interlinked alarm); and finishing to a low-maintenance standard that stands up to daily use. The outcome landed exactly as intended — and the client? “Very happy.”
